I would let her be in there for your first child. When u have more tell her to wait in the waiting room lol that's what I did. Kinda glad she was in there to help hold a leg while the dad held my other leg 😂😂

That's hard... I just had my SO. my mom would have loved to be there but I needed to concentrate because I went natural. But she had also seen another grandchild born before. But don't feel bad for just wanting your SO. its your birth nobody else's! Most hospitals allow filming if you can manage to set up a camera. Maybe you'll let her watch the video idk 😂

If you have a doctor like my doctor and you really don't want anyone else in there, you could ask them to lie and say only x amount of people in the room during delivery. I told my doc we had a big family that wants to come and she's like well we don't have a limit at this hospital but if you'd like we could lie and say there is so you can be comfortable.

They won't let both be in the room at the same time I thought like 4 ppl can be in there

I wanted only my husband with my first but when the contractions started I didn't care that my mom insisted as well on being there. This second time it was only my husband.

i went into labor so quick that my hubby was the only one in the room besides the Drs. But he got to watch the whole thing, he even got to help spread my legs wayyyyy to far apart lol

I had my mom bf and 2 aunts in my room 😂 my grandma was trying to squeeze her way in even before i went into labor like she kept giving us hints and then when i wanted her to leave she started crying. But she came in RIGHT after i was cleaned up and covered again. Only reason i had so many people was because I'm super close to 1 of my aunts and the other one was helping me calm down and be my "nurse"(my favorite one that could actually help me breath through pain had to leave and my aunt was the only one that could do exactly what she did to help me) she also held a leg and took pictures for me lol and daddy was there cause he's daddy my mom...idk lol she took pictures and i think was the 3rd person to hold him

Your mom might be able to help you remain calm more than your bf. I had my gramma, my MIL, my two aunts, my cousin, her baby and her bf there in the room with me while I delivered because they wanted to be there. I barely know any of them lol but my aunts actually saved my life by helping me breathe and stay calm when I started to freak out. My labor was incredible and I'm glad I had everyone there. I feel super bonded to all of them now

Im only having my husband in the room when I give birth . My moms pissed but she'll get over it once she sees her precious grandbaby lol .
