It can induce labor. You have colostrum already and it is all your baby needs until the milk comes in

You do not need to pump before you give birth! Please call a lactation consultant and get the correct information. Sounds like your doctor is either not informed about breastmilk or they want you to go into labor brute they take a vacation or something

@beebaby idk I don't have a regular doctor when I go to my appointment I usually have a different doctor every time idk what that doctor talking about then

Yes. Do not do that. You already have colostrum. Pumping now wont make your milk come in because you havent delivered.
