Has anyone ever had emergency c section and developed a fever after about 4 days and was told it was a UTI (urinary tract infection) and it was fine or did it end up being something more serious? please anyone tell me their experience with this!! I was discharged from hospital yesterday, I was admitted last Monday for low fluid around baby and had to immediately start a emergency induction, I had to end up having a emergency c section because after 4 days on Cervidil, Pitocin and a balloon catheter, my baby's heart rate kept dropping, his Umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck and around his leg.. I ended up back in the ER with high fever all night they discharged me with a UTI and just took 1st antibiotic a couple hours ago... please tell me this UTI and fever is common or normal.. I don't need any more stress.
