Did any of you ladies who have given birth already have an epidural? Why or why not?

Haha :-) I'm considering it. They were going over the pros and cons at my last prenatal class.

@mommy.to.sterling i just noticed i hadn't. I think I want a natural birth right now, but I'm definitely not going to rule out the option of an epidural at the time

I did but I wish I didn't cuze I felt everything :((( was so angry and disappointed

I did because when I felt my first real contraction I kne that I wouldn't be able to go through hours more of it. It worked wonders. I felt nothing. Pushing was a breeze. I was able to enjoy giving birth. I touched her head. It was amazing.

I was dealing with labour just fine. But my son got stuck at 5cm and was sick that way for 24 hours. So because of that I had to go in for an emergency c section. BUT if you can go natural I strongly suggest it. The pain from the epidural never stops.

Thanks everyone :) I think i want to try natural, but I'm not ruling out the epidural option

They froze me 3 times my daughter twice because they hit a nerve, my son once. But both my kids were c-sections
