He might be feeling your stress too. They only need like an ounce every two hours. He could also be cluster feeding. Some days my son just sits on my boob all day (seems like)
@steph_1997, i don't know much about babies but he should be having more diaper changes than 2x a day. My daughter has a diaper change every 2/3 hours. Maybe you need a change in your diet but I would definitely make an appointment for your son to make sure everything's alright
And also, if you think he's not getting enough, I definitely recommend formula so he can stay healthy. I get the Gerber Gentle formula and it's been a lifesaver
Breastfeeding got easier for me at around 2-3 months. Babies should have about 8-10 wet diapers a day and they can go multiple days without pooping if they're breastfed. If youre concerned about your baby's weight, they should be gaining about an ounce a day so if you remember what he weighed last time he was checked and compared to now you can calculate if he's gaining properly. If you don't wanna do all the math you can make a doc appointment and ask questions then
Oh yeah, and if you're concerned he's always hungry just remember that fed is best. Resort to a bottle if you have to (or want to), there's no shame in feeding your baby no matter how you do it
