How do you stop jealousy? I have a 2 year old and I also babysit a 9 month old Monday and Tuesday. My daughter is an only child and sharing the attention is very hard. She tends to get very violent. Even though I talk to her and I punish her she won't stop. I keep telling her the baby will go home shortly but she does not understand. For anyone who has dealt with the same what did you do?

^ i agree but maybe not in her room.  Try a chair or on the stairs.  But also let her help with baby. Let her help make bottles, change diapers.  Pick out clothes.  Make stuff for baby.  Like arts and crafts.  When baby is sleeping,  give her extra cuddles.  When she is extra good with baby, tell her,  exaggerate how good she is.

Put her in a time out in her room. Make her learn that when she fights for your attention in an unhealthy way she isn't going to get it
