Any other cold remedies out there ?
It seems like a lot of work but bone broth is really good for you and it has a lot less sodium than store bought. Plus the chicken gets really tender

Ingredients:
-Chicken thighs with bones
-Enough water to fill a large pot
- a few stalks of celery roughly chopped, sweet onion roughly chopped and a carrot roughly chopped. Add salt
- put veggies in pot and add chicken. Cover with enough water to fill the pot and add salt and pepper to your liking
- bring to a boil and then turn heat down and let simmer for 3 hours.
-remove chicken with tongs and let it cool until you can touch it
- strain liquid and save for your broth
- dump veggies unless you like over cooked veggies
- place strained broth in pot
- separate chicken from bone and use fork to shred
- chop up fresh carrots, celery, onion, potato and fresh thyme and parsley
- Then add chicken and veggies to pot and let simmer for 20 min.
- add noodles of your choice and cook according to directions
