Totally unrelated to pregnancy and babies but I'm curious! If your birthday falls on a weekday (say a Monday in which you work till 5pm), do you celebrate on the weekend (even just a simple cake or dinner with friends, family, or just your spouse), or do you end up planning a little something after work on your actual birthday?

@starting_over39, aha totally would love to do both! Looks like it's not happening though. Bday is tomo and hubby hasn't planned anything for today either - taking his younger sister to the mall instead. Oh well. Gotta love being a grown up lol I've never been huge on big celebrations but certainly wouldn't mind a little cake 😂

My husband normally does something small on the day of. Cake and flowers. Once the weekend comes up we normally go for dinner.

Lucky you! That sounds lovely :). I don't think that'll happen this weekend for me as it'd be nearly a week that my bday has passed - I was a little grumpy yesterday because I was hoping he'd want to do SOMETHING but he likes spoiling his (already too spoiled) sister so I just kept my mouth shut lol. We'll see what happens today 😂. He's a wonderful man, just not much of a celebratory man
