Today was my first time away from my little one. I had to fight tears when saying good bye and leaving. We had a wedding and went to the ceremony which was in our town but I remember the reception wrong and it was 35mins away and we both didn't feel very comfortable being that far away for the first time so we told the bride that she was being super fussy and we had to leave...not excatly a lie cuz she was being fussy when we left and was fussy with my SIL. (Am I a horrible person for doing so?) We took the time tho and went to a small dinner and spent a little cuddle time at home together (I stared at the empty bassinet when at home sad) then picked her up. Was still away for 4hrs. Def happy to have her back and she missed momma and fell right asleep after hearing my voice again. Pumped since we were gone and got 6.5oz total and I have 5oz from earlier today so yay more for the freezer.

No your not wrong! Your baby is more important and we always worry about our babies. I'm sure she understood

@kreese88 thank you that makes me feel better ♡ if it wasn't her first time it would have been different plus we was fussy when we left her so it made us more worried and didn't wanna drive the 35mins there just to turn around and come home

I still do that.. just went to a wedding last night stayed for the ceremony, dinner danced for two songs and dipped because we missed our little one! They're our world ❤️

@anmlopez at least I'm not alone lol like it was nice being away for a little but I was worried and missed her so much the whole time. Couldn't wait to have her back in my arms then snuggled her all night.
