I know some moms and doctors don't count 99.5 as a fever 🤒 but i do when my child isn't drinking…

My daughter got that way before I would bath her using the johnsons vapor bath, put some eucalyptus in the oil warmer, some baby Vicks on her chest and would hold her. Sometimes all they want is that.

Have you tried Pedialyte. To help keep her hydrated. For the longest time it's all my 10 month old would drink. He's finally drinking milk more than 2x a day but still got lil fever going on almost 4 weeks.

My children body temperatures are always under 99.0 so once they are 99.1+ to me is a fever. Either a doctor or other mamas don't think so. I know my children better than anyone in this world so trust your mom instincts and do what YOU believe is best for your baby.

@marinewife10, thank god i did im in the er she has 104 fever and they told a virus as well

@t143, yeah in some cases but i know her she stoped eating and she was caught got worse and her temperature went up

@sallygogoladze Good, thing you took her in. Hope your lil one feels better. My son was sick 3 weeks now almost 4 and he's not really been wanting to eat or drink anything. He was to the doc 2 times in one week. Was warm but not what they call a temp tho.

@suzzie., when she refused water milk and food and her fever started going up i couldnt even get tylenol down at some point she was all red and burning i got really scared she was falling a sleep and i rushed in the er

Yes, that's very good idea. My 4 yr old did that as a baby as well. I asked a friend hrs before it happened to take us to ER. Shea like yea let me finish eating I'm like ok. That gives me time to get ready. She was right around the coner. Hrs go bye same thing his temp get going up. And started acting life less. I'm like fuck this friend. I call ambulance and right as they got their he started going unresponsive. Than she wanna call me after I post on fb was going to ER cuz he was going unresponsive so his dad knew his friend's was on my fb as well he has one but don't always go on and losses phone a lot.. One his friend's tolled him and he ended up calling me. I was heated took mad long for her to respond.

@suzzie., omg im sorry u had to go through that 😔there is nothing worse than sick baby . And i hate when ppl start talking like oh im not that mom that rushes to er on small things I believe hospital is there for to make sure everything is ok my child is the most precious thing i have in life and thats y i have health insurance plus i better be safe than sorry u know

We are home no fever she started been her self eating a bit caught is still there once in a while. So ladies it was called croup virus thats why her caught sounded different to me

@sallygogoladze that's what I'm saying. I don't take my child in either. I have other children. I don't have all time in world for them juat to say take some meds n so on. That's a waist of time.

@sallygogoladze that's good she's doing better an eating. I also found putting some baby food on toasts the fruits it helped get my boys to eat the older 2 of course. In stead of jelly just use some fruit. I only do when sick tho to get them to eat. They really like it.

@suzzie., my little girl doesnt like sweets anything that has little or any sugar and she doesn't like fruits either but she is eating little bit and started drinking water

That stinks. It always got my boys to eat toasts plus it better than jelly.

..I'm glad she's doing better. My lil guy back to his normal happy go lucky self today after so long. Lets hope he stays this way.
