If your period is already late you should be fine taking one but if you get a negative and are still in doubt you can always have the doctor confirm

It's recommended you wait until the day you missed your period at the least. I found out 4-5 days before my period was supposed to show, but everyone is different. But since you've already missed it now you could test if you wanted to

I wanted till I was 5 days late and got a super faint line so I wanted 2 more days and BFP. But you can test now well in the morning ☺️
