I use to just wipe down my baby til his umbilical cord fell off then I bathed him twice a week or so. When I had to go back to work I started bathing him every night to get him used to a bedtime, the bath was part of the bedtime routine. Now I bathe him every other night since he sleeps mostly thru the night now

I bathed mine every other day or so. Since you can't completely put them in water because of the umbilical cord, I gave her a "sponge bath" .. I would just dip my wash cloth in water with a little baby soap mixed in and wash her down with it, then took regular water to the cloth to make sure no soap was left behind! Just make sure to lotion the baby up when you're done 😊
