I don't have any tips as I tried all kinds and mine fell out in clumps for 6months after I had Max! How I had any left I don't know but I did! I washed and conditioned every other day then used a special leave in conditioner once a week. Helped soften it up a bit. Think just time will settle it while your hormones settle.
