Hey mommy's question my baby girl is constipated along gassy to where it hurts her where she gets mad and it happens almost everyday is there a better formula milk that is better for her stomach she's on similac advance.

We had to switch my son to Similac sensitive due to the same issues it will take up to 2 weeks for her body to adjust but it's worth it in the long run!

@ashwee33 so it would be easier to switch her cause right she's in pain what it sounds like. Like when we give her a bottle she starts crying and throwing the fit you know kicking her feet and throwing up her arms like shes either upset or in pain. But then she would take the bottle cause right now she's eating right now.

Constipation ease once a day in her bottle would help. Karo syrup also works well.

Similac sensitive ! My daughters on it right now and has been for almost 3 Months .

@queenaranda when did you switch to sinsitive and know that she needed to be on it

@amelliaholmes1457, we switched to sensitive when she was a month old , she was spitting up , constipated , and gassy , now that she's been on it her stomach is at ease , she hardly spits up , and she gets gassy sometimes but she's a little sick right now.
She's also starting cereal so I think it's making her gassy .

@queenaranda ok so when my next appointment with WIC comes I'll ask them if I can switch to the sensitive similar instead of advance. Also question what age did you start the cereal and which one did you do.

@amelliaholmes1457, WIC should be able to switch it , I have WIC and they did for me , but your more north in the DFW and I'm down south it may be different you can also get a prescription or note from your pedi and WIC will have to switch it anyways .
I started her on cereal exactly at 3months I'm using the Gerber oatmeal and Gerber rice cereal (supported sitters )

Oh ok the mother in law wants me to put a little bit in her milk to get her full and I said yea but I dont think her stomach can digest it yet and she said will yea if her stomach dont then we quit it off and I'm not to sure on it and she said that she did it to all five of her kids. But idk

@amelliaholmes1457 it's recommended not to put cereal in the bottle especially at 1 month. I had to switch my son from Similac Advance to Similac Sensitive when he was a month old. We needed our pediatrician to fax over a paper to the WIC office for it to be switched.
