Is it normal for my breast to feel empty? I'm still producing milk, and he's eating regularly. But they don't feel like they're getting full anymore & I've been eating all kinds of food to boost production. I'm worried I'm going dry but I don't understand why. 😔

@hallek129 no you produce milk all the time. ALL the time thats how you become engorged and you feel full cause you actually are. When my son was born he would only nurse on one side and i didn't try the other side because it would get is both frustrated. It was because i was too full on that side and he couldn't get a latch. @debdeb1 you can feel empty, try upping your water intake. Water is key for milk production and nursing. No pumping. And remember you only produce as much as he needs the more he needs the more you produce, the less he needs the less you produce.

I read that you actually produce milk when they are nursing, not when your boobs feel full. I had the same concern.
