...putting your phone in rice usually work with water/liquid damage right?!
@fasciamom, It's been doing that tho since the liquid got in it. If It's fried wouldn't it not work again at all? No vibrate or anything
@fasciamom, I tried turning it on way earlier and all it did was vibrate
Just dip it in a luke warm water for a min then put it in between the loaf of bread. My phone fell in the kitchen sink one time because my husb.called while I was washing dishes. That's what I did. It survived for 2 years
@anbelle, that's only for water damage tho? Because my moms issue is that dish soap got in it
@damiensmommy1117, the crazy thing about it is that the battery wasn't at all wet, just the back of her phone and the inside. I can ask if she at least took it off a little bit
@bryannajneal92
Oh dang.. Idk about dish soap because when it dries it can become sticky.. I would try to hold off on checking for at least a few hours because if it's pretty wet in there still it can cause the circuits to short out and fry the phone. Hopefully it'll just make the buttons a bit sticky.
@damiensmommy1117, my mom had her phone in this grocery bag and dishwashing liquid messed up her phone. I hope it'll work the same. You think so? I kinda wanted to check on it in an hour but idk
Yep first it just vibrated then it came on and u can see the little water in the screen but i couldnt hear anything then the next day it came on and I could hear again but I still could see a little water in the screen but it was working fine
