@miasmama0517, oh your baby might just need more. My little ones took longer to gain weight too. I was doing both formula and Breastmilk.

@miasmama0517, oh wow that is kind of a lot. She's still little. What did the doctor say? Does she spit up a lot? They were about the same but they caught up sure enough. One of my little guys is still very picky though.

@blessedmama09 yea she does spit up a lot sometimes it comes out too much as of she's throwing up or something

@miasmama0517, water isn't good for her yet. You can starve her like that. I gave one of my sons water when he was a newborn and my doctor got so upset. The formula has everything she needs. Maybe you need to switch formulas. I don't think that formula is good for her. Maybe sensitive. It's probably hurting her little belly.

Yeah you should have a serious talk with the doctor to see which formula they think would be best. What ever it is she might get over it as she grows.

@miasmama0517 is there a reason you give her soy? Was she having problems with other formulas? My son couldn't use regular infant formula and had to he put on enfamil gentlease and rice cereal(because he was NEVER full and i wasn't about to give my 1month old 8oz of formula. But at 1 month he was on 4oz and by 3 months he was on 6oz and ever since he was 6 months old he's been on 8oz and still going on rice cereal too. I don't listen to what most people tell me about how i should feed him. If he was hungry he ate and i let him eat as much as he wanted. The rice cereal helped him gaine 2-3 lbs over a course of 2-3 months very steadily. He's extremely healthy too and no one has told to stop giving it to him because it's keeping up his weight and keeping him healthy.

@miasmama0517 no just every morning and every night when he goes to bed(the bed time one has become a habit i can't break and now he won't go to bed with a normal bottle) and i give him cereal bottles at nap time.

Did her doctor say something about her weight ? Are you small maybe she’s just going to be a tiny girl .

My son is 4 months too but he’s 19 lbs he’s big because his dad was and so was his grandpa !

@noahs.mommy, I had to give my son a little rice early too he was ALWAYS hungry !!!

@beautybeholder yea I'm small I was born 5 pound 5 ounces she was born 6 pound 1 ounces.

And before I got pregnant I stayed 99 pounds for 5 to 6 years.
