At what age do you buy your child a booster seat because this car seat isn't cutting anymore my daughter getting way to big for this

You'll need a convertible seat for awhile. They rear face and forward face. Some of them even do it all. Booster seats aren't meant to be used until they're 7-8 yrs old
By law in NJ children can't be in boosters until at least age 4, and 40lbs, I think, or until they outgrow the height/weight requirements of the carseat. If I can manage it, though, I won't switch him until he's 5 or 6. I'll keep him rearfacing as long as possible, too. His carseat goes to 40lbs rear, 65lbs front.
