I'm on maternity leave right now and my SO works 2nd shift. Is it wrong of me to want him to help out a little even if I'm not working currently? I'm bottle feeding and I got up with her all night for feedings and all I wanted was for him to get up to feed her at 8am and he flipped out about it. I mean fuck. He got a full long stretch of sleep and I got 2 hours broken up at a time. And my toddler doesn't always nap. So I'm tired as fuck too! Like when I go back to work it's not like I'll get out of doing shit.

I'm currently doing everything because my bf works 730 to 630 everyday. And I hate it.

How is it wrong? He's their father. It's his duty to help! Like you said, when you go back to work you'll still be expected to keep doing what you're doing. Why should it be different for him just because he works?

Tell him! I let my husband sleep through the night all week. But he agreed that one night on the weekend, he is the one to be getting up with the baby. This allows me to catch up on some sleep and get to relax a bit. Also, once he's comes home from work, I have him do any feedings and diaper changing until bedtime. Then I take over for the night. I'm not working currently either, and I feel our arrangement is fair. Sit down and you gotta get it into your guys head about what you want. Come to an arrangement that you like. Nip this shit in the bud now or he'll assume it's okay and keep doing it.
