Now that I'm a mom, and a wife, I see things differently. All those times that my mom picked men over my brother didn't hit me as hard as of now. She pittys herself for the"tough" card that life handed to her & doesn't learn from her mistakes. I'm not sure if a psychologist would even be helpful at this point. I personally don't even know if I should put my hands on the fire for my brother when he himself doesn't seem to understand the consequences of his actions. I have my own family to worry and put first but I always filled with guilt for turning around when they need a hand. I might not be able to do much for my mom, but I feel like my brother can still be rescued.

My mom lost her maternal side a long time ago, and we didn't notice until now.

I'm so lost.
