They do it at 12 weeks, it's the NT scan. What they do is they do an ultrasound and look at the baby's neck because the skin is translucent and check to see if there are any deformities in the baby that they can catch. And just to make sure the baby is progressing in a healthy way. Mine is next Wednesday!
Oh ok. Yeah my doc didn't tell me much just gave me a piece of paper nnsaid call them to make an app. I'm 12 weeks today my app is tomorrow I was freaking out not knowing what they r gnna do. I don't do needles they scare me so I was hoping it didn't have anything to do with that

They will also do a blood draw, so be prepared. Drink lots of water before!
