@lumos.nox, Yes, but if they had an agreement and he went behind her back, that's still not ok, and accepting it and moving on just proves he can get away with something that she's not ok with. Compromise is everything in a relationship/marriage.

@lumos.nox, I'm not saying you can't be successful if you smoke. Because some people can. (I say some, because of all the people I know personally, they fail at life). I personally have never touched it, and don't plan on it. But I definitely wouldn't want to be with someone who does. My husband used to smoke, but he knew from the beginning it was pot or me. He chose me, and now we have a family. I guess if both parties are ok with it, then there's no issue, but if you're invested in staying with your SO, sometimes you have to make sacrifices.

Pot tore apart my family when i was younger. My mom was always high and my dad was always drunk. I don't deal with people who smoke and i don't deal with people who drink. Until you have lived my life or until you have heard about my past keep your opinions about my choices to yourself. I grew up in foster care because my parents were unfit to raise me. If you were to move where i live and smoked pot while in the parenting role your child would be taken from you for a minnumum of 6 months. I know it helps some people but he has no reason to be taking it. Hes not mentally or physically sick. He's fine. People who didnt grow up like i did dont understand the grudge i and many other people have against it. And never will.
