What is everyone's views on Gender Reveal Party's? My family all wants me to, but I can't wait any…

My bf wanted to wait completely and have it be a surprise.. I was like you can wait all you want.. Lol everyone kept telling me to do a reveal party but I don't see the point in it really when I can just tell people and they'd be just as excited and I don't have to wait longer lol

@arcsmomma, the idea of it seems fun like it would bring everyone together. But I just really don't think I can wait any longer than I have to.

I'm having my gender reveal party on monday and i'm so excited but nervous at the same time because my boyfriend and i don't wanna find out! the only people who are going to know is my mom (and maybe my sister) and all my friends & family will find out the same time as us. i'm soooo impatient and i can find out what it is TOMORROW but i know the wait will be so worth it. i think the gender reveal will be worth it & you'd always remember it! it's also a fun excuse to get all your family and friends together :)

I wasn't going to do one but my sister in law wanted to do one so badly so I let her. It was a lot more fun then I thought it would be and it was fun finding out the gender with everyone else.

@abagalerose98 It would have been nice but my family lives in Northern California/Virginia and my bfs family is in Southern California. So we would have had to do 2 parties.

I was so impatient to. My SO surprised me with the gender.
