At the doc my blood pressure been up today 150 n last time 140 what does this mean I wonder what…

Hopefully it goes down for you mama! That can cause complications for you and the baby, do you usually have high blood pressure?

@tyoungdeer, no that's why I'm worried what kind of complications

@gabriela_duque18, it can cause you to get preeclampsia and in some cases if it continues to stay high they could possibly have to induce you.. that's not always though, hopefully they can get yours down! Mine always stays high within my last few weeks so they always want me to be induced at at least 38-39 weeks

Hope it goes down. When I was in labor my blood pressure was a little high but they gave me ice water to lower it. Drink water and just relax.

@gabriela_duque18, just make sure they monitor you! You can buy a blood pressure monitor for at home as well

If your doctor doesn't seem to worried at the moment though try not to stress over it

@tyoungdeer, I have to go back Friday they said they gonna keep an eye on me he said I could be getting preeclampsia I have to get blood work today
