You should ask your doctor's office about ultrasounds because every doctor's office is different. They don't all give you an US on the initial appointment some make you wait until you're 12 weeks

@beatifulmommy yes like during my first pregnancy my old doctor told me 12 weeks I would get an US. My second pregnancy with Amir my doctor gave me an US during the first appointment. I just so happened to be exactly 8 weeks and was able to see his heartbeat.
