Any suggestions on how to explain to an almost 2 year old about a new baby coming around in February…

My boy was 2yr 6months when my second was born, I used to just tell him he's got a baby brother coming soon. Wasn't too sure if he understood but when he was born my big one was all for it

My boyfriend told his son (who is 3) & he didn't believe him 😂 just that he has a baby brother or sister coming soon. They prob won't understand it fully until they see the belly or the baby, then just tell them that it's their baby brother or sister & they'll catch on eventually lol

@loviinmyboys hopefully that works because I swear my son wants no siblings lol, without getting graphic he cup checks my husband almost daily... I don't think it's technically intentional but it's crazy how much he does it

I told my daughter that she would be getting a sister & then gave her a babydoll to help prepare her! (She still didn't fully understand until mommy popped out another baby) lol
