@jayme, totally understand!!! I worked at school with special needs children. One of them has autism. We were taught to just keep him safe when he had an outburst. I don't "hit" my kids either. I spanked them when they were younger but only after verbal didn't work. And it was never at an abusive level. Ever! I don't go for that crap. It's great he has a good mommy like you!
@chloeadelle he got that game taken away. But I don't hit my kids. He is special needs he has autism he is still learning to understand & deal with his emotions so we talk it out & he gets a punishment. Like doing a chore or having his phone or tablet taken away.
@morganmommy79 I don't believe in hitting my kids....I handle it verbally. Plus my son is special needs he has autism....So if he gets triggered and has an outburst he & i talk it out & he gets a punishment....having to do a chore or having his phone or tablet taken away. He is still learning to deal with things & his emotions so im here for him no matter what.
