It went by in a flash.

I've been looking back at all my summer photos and realizing that I didn't have my phone out as much as I normally do, which is a good thing. A really good thing. I tried to take in the moments as much as I could this summer because it was such a summer of transition.

I found this photo from a little over a week ago, our one and only summer vacation... since the summer was so crazy with moving, a day trip to Cape Cod was the best we could fit into our busy schedules. It didn't matter that it was only hours long, it was perfection. Time away. Time alone with these 5, plus my hubs. Time away without work, phone calls, emails to check. It was pure heaven on earth.

I love this photo in particular because it's exactly my kids to a T.
