What's a good punishment for an 8yr old girl caught on social media sticking her middle finger up?…

I don't have an 8 year old just yet, still have 3 years to go! But if it were me I would take all of her electronics away as well as not let her do a thing like go outside play with friend etc for 3 days!

I'd take away social media permanently until she's older and take away all electronics and outings for a week and replace them with extra chores.

Yeah she totally just prove that she's not old enough nor mature enough to be on social media. Therefore all social media would be deleted. I don't play that crap.

I'd take away all electronics. Keep her in the house for a couple weeks. Have a conversation and figure out exactly why she thought that was okay. Extra chores for a month or two. I already have it in my head that my son won't be allowed on social media until he is at least 14-15. And even then I'll have their passwords and the email they use will be mine.

Question .... what is an 8year old doing on social media anyways ?

@queenaranda @callher_bunny she's my step daughter but apparently her mom doesn't see anything wrong with it. My little sister happens to follow her and bought it to me and her dads attention

I find it unacceptable her mom would allow that. She's exposing her child to a lot of things she don't need to see or hear. Smh

@queenaranda exactly but what can I do I'm just the "step mom" ...we just try to enforce our rules when she's with us but when she goes with her mom that's a totally different story. Unfortunately we can't control what she's allowed to do over there

@bbyotw, does the dad have some custody agreement or something you could actually bring it up in court my sister did with my niece like a moderator to set everything in stone .

While she's with you I would just tell her to leave all electronics at home , or just take them away . She's a child and need to do child things lol.
