Is anyone on here close to Washington or Idaho and near all of these wildfires?? It's my first year…

I'm in central Idaho.

I ended up refilling my inhaler prescription for the first time in 3 years. But I have asthma and it kicks in harder when I'm pregnant.

Try and not spend to much time outside and pray for rain....

@sadiesue0718, thank you! We ended up calling the doctor since my throat is seriously on fire and my nose is running 😭 he said to stay inside and not exercise outside and I should be ok. He thinks I have a cold.. But we are packing up our camper just in case.. there's an air quality alert out right now and it's just supposed to get worse until Wednesday ☹️ I hope it gets better where you're at!

It's supposed to be just as bad here. We have fires closer to us too, so I've kept my toddler inside as much as possible. I'm not taking her shopping with me tomorrow either, aunts is coming to babysit so I don't have to expose her to it.

Pretty the whole NW has fires.... it's getting just as bad as 2 years ago. We need the water the South is drowning in!

@sadiesue0718, it's so bad.. all you can see when you look outside is smoke. But it went from hazardous to unhealthy here so I guess that's a step in the right direction. It's supposed to clear up tomorrow but until then I guess I'll be inside. I'm from the east coast so I've never been so long without rain, it's just crazy.

Wow, ya it's been a while here without rain, which is unusual. Normally we have a couple of lightning storms, but the surrounding areas got hit with them and fires started...

I'm surprised so much is burning again. 2 years ago we had horrible fires and Washington declared a state of emergency, Idaho declared state of ..... something. Washington got government assistance but Idaho didn't because we didn't "claim the right name"... it was dumb.

This isn't normal, but ya, get used to the smoke, it happens every year. Just not this much.
