Doctors are never right about baby's sizes. They can never know for sure until the baby comes out, they can only estimate the weight. My doctor said my son was 7 and a half pounds... he came out 6 lb 😑.
& on top of that, the size of the baby doesn't determine if you have gestational diabetes. Your doctor should have ran tests and looked for other signs before he told you that. The last thing a pregnant lady needs is to worry about doctor's guesses. Smh

What percentile is your baby?? My doctors are not concerned unless they are below the 10th or above the 90th. Both my babies measured a couple weeks ahead. An ultrasound can be off, give or take a pound or more, which is a lot for a baby. Both of my babies weighed 2 pounds less then what they thought they would be at birth.
Do not stress yourself about gestational diabetes until you have not passed an actual glucose test.
