I'm a new mommy my daughter is 7 months old she has a runny nose (clear and watery) and keeps grabbing her ears .. is this an ear infection? What do I give her?

@smh035, Clear and watery is a good sign. Does she have a fever? If no fever, she may not have an ear infection. Look at the insides of her ears and see if they're red.

My son hasn't had an ear infection, but his pediatrician said if the lymphnodes (?) Behind the ears are swollen its probably due to an ear infection

The only way you'll know if she has an ear infection is going to the doctor and you'll need to give her antibiotics. It could be that or she might just have a little virus.

Tylenol is safe for pain.

Take baby to the dr to check. U can give infant Tylenol for pain & fever

Ear grabbing is a comfort thing not necessary an ear infection. Almost all babies do it

@smh035 any fluid can be draining into his ears. Doesn't mean ear infection but it can still cause pain/discomfort. Although if there is fluid draining into his ears it can turn into a ear infection so I'd make him a dr appointment just to be sure.
