It's normal. When you calculate your due date using your last menstrual period it assumes that your period is a standard 28 day cycle. Not everyone has a 28 day cycle tho. If you have a shorter one or longer one your baby will measure based on whenever ovulation occurred for your cycle. If the maybe is measuring less than a week different tho they'll keep your original due date

Well yeah my cycles are short like 24 days the lady doing the ultrasound said the baby is big for me being 12 weeks and 6 days

That's what happened to me 3 weeks ago when I thought I was 9 weeks. My u/s tech told me I was actually 10 weeks and 3 days by the measurement of my uterus.

@jessi06182000, girl, I was too! I didn't realize it till I got home and looked at my sonogram again. Once I saw that it said 10 weeks I called the office and the u/s tech laughed and said that he forgot to tell me that I was 10 weeks instead of 9. It was kind of a relief for me since it was a week closer into getting out of the first trimester lol

Yes cause this is my rainbow baby and I was like this baby is pretty big for 12 weeks I looked at my daughters old ones and she wasn't this big
