Ladies listen up!!! Let's talk about this Mirena for a second. I got my Mirena placed in December of 2016 so it's been lounging in my cervix for about 9 months now.. through that time I gained a whopping 55lbs, suffered terrible acne, mood swings, anxiety, didn't want ANYTHING to do with sex, and sharp belly pains.. I had enough! I wanted it out!!! When I called to have it removed I was on a 3 month wait till my appointment! So I took matters into my own hands.. because I was DESPERATE. So I hunkered down on the toilet and I pulled it out myself.. didn't even feel a thing and came out super easy. (I know that is a big risk and I definitely am not recommending other to do it). That was 2 days ago and in a matter of two days my skin cleared up after 9 months, already lost 2lbs, energy increased, sex drive is back, and I feel a million times better. I even welcomed my period today and I welcomed it with a smile. So glad to have this devil out of my body!!! AMEN!

@momboo, we decided to switch over to TTC it took us forever with the first babe and we're ready for #2 however after I think I may try the copper IUD because it is nonhormonal and you still go through your cycle completely.

I had the Mirena I had it removed 11 months ago. Horrible pain and now I wonder if all my weight gain came from it? 🤔
