I'm having a really hard time lately. I'm on several different psych meds for bipolar, PTSD, rage disorder, anxiety, you name it I have all of it, and I had to get off several of the meds and one of them right now that they're trying to wean me off of is Klonopins, which are very bad for a pregnant woman, and I feel like I'm losing touch. I'm depressed all day, I feel sick, I just feel like I can't deal with life anymore. Those meds really help me, and now I can't take them and I'm just having a hard time. And then on top of that, I went to the convenience store today and some guy was sitting outside the store and said flat-out, "you're fat and disgusting", because I didn't want to take one of his Flyers he was handing out. And me being crazy with my rage disorder order, completely flipped out on him. I'm in the middle of Springfield, he probably had a gun on him, and as always I just snapped. Usually, that kind of crap doesn't hurt my feelings, and it's usually one ear and out the other, but for some reason it bothered me, and I don't like that at all. I'm falling apart...

Cognitive therapy is very very important during this time for you! Can't stress that enough! And also mindfulness exercises, journaling, short walks. I have stopped klonopin and other meds cold turkey or in very short period of time (highly not recommended. I just know my body and am a certified pharm tech). But either way is very shitty. So your brain and body need to start over fresh and hardwire back to before. It'll be a few months of depression, sweating, cold to hot flashes. But when all said and done and your body is used to not being on the chemicals you may even surprise yourself and feel wonderful like a new person. I found that being off klonopin I was able to remember things more and see/think a lot more clearly

Unfortunately when going on klonopin or other benzodiazepines, the withdrawal is a lot harder than the actual anxiety itself. The withdrawal is def very painful in every way I know, but you're gonna do great. Just plz be under doctor care and keep going to therapy

@abreton666, yes I hope I didn't come off harsh. I have noticed this app has

Many young immature moms or judgmental and we all don't need that we are in the same boat. Yes I have childhood ptsd as well it sucks but all we can do is try. There are days where

I would love a beer, Newport, and especially my klonopin but I'm a much healthier person (my husband thinks and I think so too sometimes)
