June 28th I had my 38 week check up and the nurse told me my fluid was very low.. 5 mins later the dr came in and told me I needed to be admitted to the hospital that day. Fast forward to 7pm I finally got my room at the hospital and was hooked up to iv and heart monitor and had cervadil inserted to soften my cervix. It did its job and effaced me almost the whole way. Dr came in at 7 am on the 29th and took out the cervadil and at 8:20 she broke my water. I went from 1cm to 5 cm within a few hours and got my epidural (which wasn't as painful as people make it seem except for the fact that she stuck me 4 times because she kept hitting my bone 😒) then got stuck at 6cm for almost 7 hours.. Pitocin was pushed up almost to max but my contractions weren't changing anything. Drs discussed a c section with me and I was already in the mindset that i was going to have to have one. One of the nurses lowered my pitocin then raised it again to try and get stronger contractions and told me to sit straight up and wiggle around and kind of help him drop which worked!! Then the contractions were hitting much stronger and the epidural didnt seem to be working i think she may have set it too low because it only numbed my legs and not my abdomen so I was feeling the contractions . I was contracting all night he dropped cockeyed and was sitting on my right pelvic bone which was some of the worst pain I felt. But at 7am I was finally ready to push , pushed for about 2 hours and at 9:22 am on June 30th my baby boy was born 7lbs 9oz 20 in long and completely perfect in every way 😍😍😍 side notes are that epidural medicine made me sick and I was so exhausted when I was pushing I would fall asleep between contractions and actually passed out twice from the pain but as soon as he was here the pain is immediately relieved
We went into the hospital to be induced at 4:00 on a Thursday. Was a 1-2cm dilated. Got hooked up and the cervadil was inserted (ouch). Nothing much happened until about midnight. Took two shots of Stadol to help me sleep and for the pain. Then friday morning at 4:30, I got a cervix check. Was still at a 1-2cm. Started pitocin at 5:30. The cervix check so extremely painful, I begged for my epidural to make the next cervix checks bearable. They came in at 7:30 to do it. As they were doing it, my blood pressure plummeted. And mine and the babies heart rates were out of wack. I almost went into cardiac arrest. They has the crash cart ready to go. I was given epinepheren and oxygen. They broke my water. Baby and I came back to normal. Pitocin was stopped until it was deemed safe to proceed by the Dr. Which it was at about 10:30. Nothing happened or progressed until about 3:00. I finally reached 4cm. Then things took off and happened really fast. At about 5:00. The epidural wore off and I was in so much pain. And I swear, it must have been the drugs or the stress but I remember specific conversations I had with the nurses but when I brought it up to my husband, he said none of those ever happened. I'm not too sure when or how long I pushed for, but I had a nervous breakdown right when I had to push. I was ready to jump off the bed and fight every nurse on my way out. My son was born at 7:21pm. During labor, I was given a episiotomy, but when my son came out, he tore me some more and I have a 3rd degree tear. Once he was born, I continued to lose blood. The Dr couldn't figure out why or stop it. I was almost taken to surgery. However the Dr felt confident enough to simply give me some pills to help stop the bleeding since I didn't have any concerning clots. We stayed in the hospital for four days. My blood count wasn't going back up so they started me on iron supplements. Despite complications during labor and delivery, my son came out perfectly healthy. He has no issues whatsoever, which I am very grateful for. I'm now healing and and much better. It was a very scary experience and very hard, but I would go through it all again for my son.
I woke up on July 18th on my day off and I was 36 weeks and 5 days and I lost my mucus plug when I went to the bathroom at 11am and then was just hanging out at home and then around 1pm I felt like I peed myself so I call labor and delivery and they told me to put a pad on and callback if I soaked through it. I decided to call my mom and she came and got me and went to her house. Alls I felt was pressure and I went number 2 a lot lol and then around 4 pm I started contracting (back labor) around 5:30 I told my mom to time them and they were 5 mins apart and so I called the hospital and they told me to come in. I got there around 6:30 most uncomfortable car ride ever! I went back to to triage and the nurse said that she could feel his head! So they got me a room and the dr came in and checked me and said "your ready to push" and I pushed for an hour and he finally came at 8:11 pm and he weighed 6 lbs 11 oz!

How they kept changing the doses of pitocin and you still felt the contractions

Oh and no pain meds or anything. Couldn't even keep an iv in me
