I've been having contractions on and off for about 3 hours. I'm not sure if I'm confusing it with real contractions or really bad Braxton hicks, and I've been relaxing, not really moving
@jaderbug, I timed mine all night and all day because they were anywhere from 5-20 minutes apart, the first night sucked!!! I sat on the ball most of the day the next day, called the hubby to come home from work early and he said no bc contractions were still to far apart. Went in when he got home, o was dilated to a 3 and contractions were getting closer, at 9 ish I got the epidural. That slowed my contractions so they gave me something to help induce them again. I did get a good night sleep thanks to the epidural though But unfortunately at 6 am they said I was at a ten and we had to go for it the epidural didn't help with anything! Then she got stuck. They cut me, I still tore, and I had a 10 lb baby girl. At 11am.

Yes. My dr actually had to break my water HOURS after being admitted to the hospital.

I had been in labor for 2 days, they went to break my water Bc I was at 10cm and had been in labor for 2 days.... and then it broke on its own.
