Question moms bathing your infant when do you start to do that? Cause the docs up at the hospital have told me I think until she's a month old meaning you only sponge bath her. But then I also heard when her umbilical cord is still attached to her then you only sponge bathe her and then when it comes off then you can give her an actual bath.

I started when his cord fell off but I wish I would've waited. I've read that the vernix is good for their skin

I shower with my kids when they are tiny... we started to do that a few days after the cord fell of and then we shower her once every 7-10 days I wipe her down every time she spits up, and use wash clothes when I change her diaper... so we keep her relatively clean between showers

General rule of thumb is sponge until cord falls off. Belly button will be a little raw so wait a couple of days after that. For those couple of days clean with rubbing alcohol

Oh ok her cord fell off two weeks ago and there's no blood it looks like its normal with no blood.
