Only one fucking ounce after 2 pumping sessions. DD is 3 weeks old and 99% of her nutrition comes from formula because I just can't provide enough milk for her. I'm tired of people telling me I'm doing great when I know I'm not. She's still hungry after breastfeeding even though she drinks me dry. Nobody listens to me, not my fiancé, not the doctor, not the wic people. I feel like I'm talking to a wall.

As long as your baby is fed, you are doing great. I know plenty of people who do half breast milk and half formula.

Well she's probably cluster feeding and in a growth spurt. Also babies can suckle out more than a pump will ever get.
But if you feel like you need to switch to solely formula don't let anyone discourage you or make you feel like a bad mom for it

She's probably cluster feeding. They usually do after birth and around 3wks, 6 wks, 3 months, 6 months, and 9months. Be patient with yourself mama. You are doing great.
Sometimes pumping is not an accurate indicator of adequate milk production. Go by the amount of wet and poopy diapers she has within a 24 hour time frame. If she has around 6-8, then she's getting enough milk.
Stress can also hinder milk production so take a deep breath, think positive thoughts and cuddle with baby while pumping. Also drink plenty of water. 😉

@chasha2017 she only gets that many diapers if she eats formula. It won't happen with me alone
Sha·
How many does she get with you alone?

@chasha2017 like 3 messy diapers and very fussy
Sha·
Oh no... are you drinking enough water and eating right?

@chasha2017 I'm trying really hard to
Sha·
Water plays a big part. Maybe try drinking 16oz before each pumping session. Also you should continue to nurse to stimulate milk production.
Sha·
I personally don't get much milk out when I pump so I gave that up but I know he's getting enough when I nurse because he has plenty of wet diapers and is gaining weight adequately.

@chasha2017 I'm not producing enough for her to gain weight, not even to maintain it
Sha·
Damn, sorry to hear. Try speaking to a LC or supplement with formula.

Drink a lot of water. I drink a glass before and after each pump (It helps me to remember). I actually talked to LC today and since I cannot breastfeed him just pump right now (long story). They suggested doing a powerpump a day. 10 mins on, 10 mins off, for one hour straight. My biggest problem is eating, super important but I don't do it as much as I should. Snack often because breastfeeding burns calories.

Great advice @t.kersey96
