My SO watched the baby for 40 minutes while I tried to work and he didn't want to hold him unless he was absolutely throwing an unhealthy fit... So I think he overstimulated him with cartoons, toys and putting him in the swing, jumper & bumbo... He says that Ryker, my LO, just wants to be held, he might have been hungry and that the problem was separation anxiety and that it isn't good. I have only had my G-ma, Mom & Sisters watch him for no longer than 3 hours at a time and the problems were: 1.) Not wanting to lay down (wanting to sit up straight to burp, poop or see what's going on) 2.) Having no patience for food 3.) Teething 4.) Tired...
And I was wondering if any of you could recommend me doing things a little different to make our lives more functional?... He says I'm going to make it impossible for anyone to babysit him... And that if he was at daycare... He'd have to be ignored a bit. 😬 My SO says I shouldn't wear the baby in the wrap as much as I do.
@lonna_dee not that breastfeeding is bad! No its not lol but he could just feel scared when your not with him because he has that special bond he gets and he KNOWS mama isn't there so he gets anxiety
He's on 3 months old mama. Do what comforts him best. Sometimes babies develop separation anxiety its not what you did it just happens. But again he's 3 months old so he's starting to not want to lay down all the time he's interested in things. Does he cereal? Or strictly milk?
