Went to L&D delivery about losing my mucus plug and cramps. Turns out the little cramps were contractions and they do not think I lost my mucus plug so I have no idea what that discharge was lol. My cervix was closed. Did any of you ladies have contractions around 33/34 weeks without dilation. What does this mean? What could be causing the contractions?

I was just told it's Braxton hicks. I couldn't sleep bc of them last night.

I went to l&d at 34 weeks (after my fiance and I made love) because I was having contractions that were 3 minutes apart, with no dialation. They gave me some pills to slow them down, along with 2 shots of steroids for babys lungs. Ive been having them everyday since.

Braxton Hicks love, but whatever is causing them be careful because sometimes they turn into real ones. I called my OB bc they were so strong I couldn't breathe or stand, he said those are going to turn into real ones and cause dialation.
