My daughter was born at 38 weeks in April last yr but noticed her toe nails hadn't developed now she very active noticing her newly grown toe nails are splitting in half an breaking so she has no nail anyone else heard of this

My 5month old just tried eating a waffle. No idea where she got it, unless she snatched it from her sister and hid it. She was chewing on it about 15secs before I noticed. Her blanket is smeared with the sprinkle colors, so I guess that's where she put it ?
