Do any of you ladies know of any liberal mom groups/forums? I've found one but it seems to be exclusive to North Austin. I don't care if it's local. I realize what I am asking but I really don't want this to be a political post. I do not need to agree with you or have you agree with me but, if you can help me - fantastic!

I am looking for suggestions and also as the topic states; here to vent. I've joined a handful of Mommy groups lately looking for support and like-minded potential friends. I can not stand all the inflammatory baiting! I realize we are all tried, going through something in life but I feel like I'm being hit in the head with a hammer every time I go to a few of these FB groups in particular. The same people post the same drama and have the same fight, then they do it all again! (Throwing around "baby killers/murders", the ANTIVAXXERS, homophobia and transphobia on a level that I would have thought to be an exaggeration, literal racists/nazi sympathizers, vitriol directed at poor people, criticism of higher education, "agenda" "media bias" and other dog whistles😥. Can we talk about babies now??) It just never occured to me that this would be in so many parenting groups. My heart breaks for the kids on the other side listening to that on a regular basis. I just want a friendly Mom group to talk about what we deal with, talk about our kids, what is great for age x through x, tips, sales, recalls, enjoying life! I don't want the adult version of Mean Girls.
