My mother is really pissing me the fuck off. She lost both her jobs about a month and a half ago and her car broke down. Since then me and my brother have literally been taking her places to get stuff giving her money and paying for stuff she doesn't even need. My cousin just fixed her car and is asking for $150 for the parts and she asks us to pay it. I simply say you have a car now you can go get a job and ask him if you can pay him back after you get the money he is family he will understand. And she has the nerve to send this shit back. What the fuck. I've givin her money went out of my way to give her rides!! Am I wrong for telling her not to ask me or my brother for the money

Idk. Bc you are grown now. I dont see the issue in getting her back on her feet. She once took care of you for years. Not just a bad moment of your life. What i would do is help her find a job & not enable her by letting her get comfortable with the two of you pulling her weight. She seems to be having a hard time. Not saying do things for her but let her figure it out with your support. Especially since you have a child coming. I get its frustrating but you only have one mother.

@noirplusone, she has never been there for me my dad got me at the age of two and I have tried helping her get a job and she isn't willing to go out and put applications. She is just using us.
