My grandparents live in corpus and boarded up the windows and are hunkering down. In in Houston, and we are also going to try and hang out. The only thing I'm worried about is no power. I looked at the maps for Houston, and as of now, when it hits, it will hit as the hurricane but will hit when I live more as a "tropical storm" bringing lots of water. If you so plan to leave, I would suggest doing so now... the roads are crazy!

@babydiehl2016, I thought we were following each other haha!!! I'm in Houston, but from DFW. Of course our family wants us to head their way, but dude, that traffic looks like a huge bag of NOPE! Plus, we are above i10 which will flood, for the most part, I'm sure we will have major floods (we have flooding each time it rains), and possibly no electricity. However, they usually get the electricity back on quickly here. So... we shall see! I'm hoping it will not be too bad, ya girl has a wax scheduled on Saturday morning 😂😂😂

@babydiehl2016, I saw your post. That's so good! From Galveston area? I remember when Leo was on the vent, part of the hospital lost power. I was super scared. They said the nurses are on a 1:1 with kids on a vent and bag them till the generator kicks in! Like.... ummmmmmmmmmm........ good thing our NICU didn't loose power. That's good that they are moving some! I'm wondering why they are only moving 10? Maybe the others are going to other hospitals? Prayers for those families! My plan is that if we loose power, we can head TO the hospital so they can put him on his support. Hopefully we just see heavy rains... they compared it to "tax day floods of 2016" which was ironically the day that I found out I was preggo with Leo hahahaha!

But we havent heard anything yet but we're on the highway head to vance jackson and they're already going to start taking shelter at the AT&T center. @purpledpink yes we're planning to leave to dallas tomorrow morning most likely

@babydiehl2016, yeah we got lots of oxygen tanks today, insurance gave us 30... yes 30 cans of his formula! I mean, I know my kid needs to grow, but dang... all his food pumps are charged. Only thing we need is his cpap, which does have to be plugged in.... ugh! @ppb14pj16, yeah, I totally support you needed to do what you need to do! I always say plan for the worst hope for the best! I probably should be more worried, but we literally flood in Houston all the time! You will always have the idiots who will "think" they can go through high water and need rescuing, but, HPD has figured out those areas and blocks them now.. so, as long as we can keep power, we are good, we can take a walk and see the crazy high water. My only fear is the rolling black outs that happen... once Galveston starts loosing power it just keeps going. Stay safe! Everyone keep in touch!
