You can have it whenever you'd like but I'd start planning, at least loosely well ahead. Mine took weeks to plan completely and get everything together.
I had mine at 33 weeks. A little over a month before i had my son. Do it whenever you want though. There really is no bad time to have it, just give yourself a little space between baby shower and due date.

You can start planning whenever! I think I had mine at like 36 weeks? Maybe 34 I forget lol
