When is it a good age to transition baby to a sippy cup??

I transitioned my oldest at 9 months soon as she started cutting more teeth.

I started mine about 9 months by giving them the sippy cup. And they soon wanted it instead of the bottle. Which it made mine easier to get off the bottle as well.

My son never really used the sippy cup. He liked to use "grown up cups" so we got him 360 cups and did really well. Dr recommended.
