Hey ladies, are any of you in the NuvaRing birth control. I have a question for the mommies that maybe, when you take your birth control out when do you usually get your period? Because I call myself taking my birth control out this week ( it's only been 2 days to be exact) so that I will start my period sometime this week and by next week I will be off before my birthday which is the first. I am getting the crampy feeling but still nothing and I can't remember if it's like the third day or the fourth day when the cycle May Come. Because I'm so used to switching rings out when the third week come so I won't have a period the next month or I'll wait until I started bleeding myself and then I take the ring out. I know I'm not pregnant I took a pregnancy blood test back in July and it was negative so I'm not worried about pregnancy. I just want to know if it's normal??

I had nuva ring and it varied from the next day to a couple days but my doctor said if it takes to long you don't even have to wait to put it back in i wish I knew that before I wouldn't be pregnant now lol but hey some people don't get a period on it either 🤷🏻♀️

@skysmommy04 lol, well children are a blessing so you're just blessed three times over this time. Thanks for replying see I didn't know that if it doesn't come you can put your birth control back in. New information to me but if I put a new ring in and don't have my period isn't that going to throw my body off? Because I was just going to use it for one more month and then go natural I've been on it for a little over a year and a half so I can't remember my natural body pattern.

Yes getting off of birth control completely, I wanted to wait until after my birthday so I wouldn't have to worry about no slip ups or whatever happens when the medication get is out of your system. I've been on birth control for so long I don't know how my body is going to react once it's not in my system anymore.
