Does any body suggest giving babies water?
I looked it up and got mixed reviews
You can give small amounts at 6 months but they don't even need water until 1 year. If you're wanting to introduce water, you should discuss with the pediatrician before hand.
Okay, my baby is creeping up on 8 months. I was curious as to what y'all thought about it, thank y'all!
I suggest it if your baby is under six months old and is very constipated mix water with like two little spoonfuls of plums and that'll make them poop. And also if you're trying to hydrate the baby yeah it's OK to give them at least 2 ounces of water but that's it
No. Not until they are 6 months and then at that time no more than 2 ounces a day. It can be increased slightly as they age and start eating solids. The reason behind this is because water fills a tiny tummy up and they don't get the nutrition they need to gain weight and be healthy. Of course, in all cases, talk to your pediatrician.
