So I take my son in for pink eye yesterday. They said I would notice an improvement with in 24 hrs. It has been 21 hrs and he getting worse. Is this normal for pink eye? I have never dealt with it before. He also says it hurts and is throbbing.

Pink eye is pretty nasty but I'd call Dr and see what they say. Especially if you think it's getting worse. However it'll look pretty bad, maybe worse as the infection is leaving. I've had it a bunch. It's awful.

Ugh!! I just got off the phone with the Dr. She said the same thing.

My daughter had it and they gave her one type of drop that sucked no improvement but the second type of drops they gave her worked immediately
